Admission is $10 – and 100% (yes, 100%) of the proceeds and pledges go toward the purchase of new digital mammography equipment in Nova Scotia. Pledges of $10 or more can receive a tax receipt.
So come on down for the merry T-Dance – have a glass of cheer, grab a tambourine and dance off that turkey, catch up with friends and even meet some new ones. She'll be playing retro, recents and as always, your requests.
What do DJ Motlette, Richard Simmons and breast health have in common?
Bust a Move! Bust a Move is a unique, home grown fundraising event being organized by the QEII and IWK Foundations. Six hours of exercise on January 30, 2010 at the Metro Centre, with a special guest appearance by fitness guru, Richard Simmons. More than 1,000 Nova Scotians will set two world fitness records, and raise thousands of dollars to improve essential breast health services in our province. DJ Motlette has committed to raising more than $1,000.
